Little late... Addy's 4 month check up

So i just realized a month later that I never updated on how Addy's 4 month check up went!! Things have been crazy that's for sure!!

12.13 oz (25th percentile)
24 inches (50th percentile)

We officially have the go ahead to eat cereal, veggies and fruits even though we started that about a few weeks before her appointment :)

Here are some things Miss A is up to!

- Drinking 6 oz every 3 hours (Girl has a schedule down she eats at 6,9,12,3 and 6)

- Loves her cereal with fruit. Pears are her favorite fruit and i don't think she has a favorite veggie yet. She eats them all the same. Green beans are her least favorite though.

- Has rolled over from belly to back once! Cant get her to do it again yet!

- Loves being on her tummy and playing with her toys. Pushes her chest all the way up now.

- Laughs out loud but mostly for daddy or when I'm really trying to make her laugh.

- Still loves her bath time.

- Tries to sit up from a laying position

- Can wiggle her self all the way around on her play mat. Even tries to push off with her knees. I think crawling will be a cinch for her :)

So that is what we have been up to. Next appointment is April 9th for her 6 month shots and check up :) Maybe next time it wont take me a month to update!

4 months already

I can not believe my baby is 4 months old! Time is flying!!

Well great news my fabric and onesies came in today! I plan to work on the valentines onesies for Kayla and Addison tonight, and maybe if I have time start on my burp cloths. I have all the stuff to do Megan's blanket but I want to get a different color of thread to make it interesting! Maybe I will get to it this weekend.

Im really excited to do the girls shirts and the burp cloths. Once I get them made im going to post them on etsy and see how they sell. I have enough fabric to do a bunch of valentines onesies and some really nice boutique style onesies (100% pima cotton) so soft I want to get a shirt for myself with the stuff!

If anyone is interested in the onesies I am going to sell them for $10. I will post a picture tonight so everyone can see how they look :)

Here are the sizes of onesies available:
3-6m (15.5lbs-20lbs)
6-9m -12m (20-23lbs
9-12m(23-25.5lbs)

Yeah!!!

I bought my sewing machine last night, and ordered some onesies and fabric. Cant wait to start creating some things! :)

Hopefully I will have it all in and some time this weekend to get to work and make a few sample things. If you have a little one be on the look out you may be my guinea pig for a while :)

First project in mind will be onesies for Kayla and Addison for Valentines. I ordered some cute valentines fabric and I plan to make a heart for the chest and sew it on...

Second project will be a matching bib and burp cloth set. Hopefully to post on etsy and see how it sells...

Third project will be to learn how to make some bows to go with the onesies. From what I have seen online they are not hard at all. Hard to beleive I have been paying people to make things that I can most likely do myself :)
